Derek brings curiosity, creativity, and a love for learning to his real estate practice. Drawn to service at an early age, Derek grew up in the hospitality industry, which allowed him to live on the West, East, and Arctic coasts. Returning to university later in life, he finished his first degree in philosophy, before pursuing an MBA at the University of Alberta. After a few years consulting for the retail industry, he jumped at the chance to put down roots in the Comox Valley, moving here in 2015, and joining RE/MAX shortly after.
