Hello, I'm Derek! I was born and raised in the Comox Valley. In my previous career, I was part of the General Management Team for my family's business, Courtenay Toyota. I worked alongside my late father, Brian Rice, and my brother Andrew Rice in managing the dealership. I was raised in a strong, business-oriented family. We ran our business with the mindset of meeting customers needs first, above all else. I believe in building long term trust with my clients and working hard to satisfy their real estate needs. In my spare time, I enjoy golf, gardening, and spending time with my family and my American Bulldog Barkley. I am eager to start a new chapter with the Rice Real Estate Team Comox Valley at Re/Max Ocean Pacific Realty teamed with my brother Andrew, and I look forward to helping you with your home-buying or selling journey!
